What will the Co-op look like in 10 years?
One of the main jobs of the board is to plan for the future of the co-op. We have spent much of the last year working on visions of what the co-op could look like in the future and what that would mean for our store and community. Now, we need your help.
After a six-month long look at where the coop is and has been the Visioning Committee has three possible futures: Stay-Put, Expansion and Back to Our Roots.
What is your vision?
Do you see us in a larger space and selling more mainstream foods and servicing a larger portion of the community? Do you see us staying where we are and working on improving our current store? Do you see us going back to our roots and selling mostly bulk and local food?
Should we EXPAND? STAY PUT? BACK TO OUR ROOTS?
These are complicated issues and not all mutually exclusive. But having an overall direction from the membership about what you want is important for the board.
